POLARIS SOCIAL STUDIES
Welcome to the sixth grade!! You will have many opportunities to LEARN more about the world around you, and DISCOVER new cultures, new skills, and new communities!! Our year is divided up into 3 trimesters, during which our major units of study will be Regions, Map Interpretation Skills, The 5 Themes of Geography, Ancient Cultures, Explorers, and Medieval History. Polaris students will complete a wide of range of visual representations and technology projects to show-off their talents and mastery of Social Studies skills!!!
